I had the opportunity to drive out to South Dakota when This Old Horse was picking up 7 of the Gila Band blind Mustang horses from International Society for the Protection of Mustangs and Burros (ISPMB) . I had just a few hours of time to photograph these beautiful horses and many others before heading back to Minnesota. It was an emotional experience.
